OFFERINGS
I provide individual hour long somatic therapy sessions. I approach these sessions from a place of compassion. I approach all of my work in a trauma-informed manner. I believe in each client’s wisdom about their own body. Whether you are looking to re-connect with your body or explore new movement practices, sessions with me are collaboratively built on consent and equality. I also offer two group classes on Mondays and Wedesdays; details on the booking page.
I incorporate some or all of the following modalities: yoga, mindful somatic movement, dance, boxing, reiki, meditation, and more traditional therapy. With some clients we end up mostly talking and with others we end up mostly moving on the mat. Each session is individually tailored to meet a person where they are and address their needs at a given moment.
I often work with clients who have anxiety or depression and a history of trauma. Connecting with our bodies through movement, breath work, and meditation can assist with nervous system regulation. Stress lives in the body and as important as talk therapy are body-based approaches. I help clients with embodiment practices to allow the body to feel strong, empowered. Together we build capacity and resilency through somatic connection.
TESTIMONIALS
Kahlila is a compassionate, trauma‑informed yoga therapist and skilled talk therapy counselor. As a therapist myself, I came to her practice to work on the connection between my body and my psychological history; she has been an empathic, supportive, warm guide through both present challenges and difficult past material. In session she notices subtle body movement and the moments when mind and body feel in flow, encouraging my own awareness of physical and emotional needs. She listens with an open mind and empathetic heart, builds on what I share without lecturing, welcomes feedback, and meets people where they are.

I have really loved working with you. The sessions really were a therapy for me - the chat at the beginning, your encouragement, and your calming voice and presence throughout. You had a huge impact on me and my healing journey - more than I knew could be possible.

I have been fortunate enough to train with Kahlila in a variety of settings. I have been a private client, a group class member, and I have even trained with a partner and cannot recommend her more as a guide to enhance my strength both physically and mentally. Kahlila is an amazing listener to one's needs and is completely present, enthusiastic and supportive throughout every session from beginning to end. She has added so much not only to my physical strength training, but to my life.

I'm forever grateful to Kahlila for the work she did with me after knee surgery. I could not walk or stand but she worked with me to regain my core strength, exercise lying down, and to stretch and relax my body at a time when I was in pain and feeling so weak. After our sessions I was able to feel more "in" my body and to appreciate my body and understand that it would heal in time. The best part was the meditation and massage she did after our workout. I looked forward to that all week. I'll never forget those sessions that helped me get back on track. Thank you so much Kahlila. You are an inspiration and an angel.

I have been working with Kahlila Kramer for years now and she literally saved my back. I suffered from regular bouts of extreme back pain but working with her each week has not only relieved that pain but made me feel more centered in fitness and in life. Her approach is working from the inside out, and she understands where you are at and what you need.
